GDS designs and implements Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system to improve performance and achieve results by providing real time data along with interactive maps to clients. We conduct operations research and impact evaluations,  population based surveys including baseline and end-line surveys, longitudinal studies, formative studies, situation analysis, cost and economic analysis, gender and inclusive development analysis, risk assessments and  special studies on policy and advocacy.  We are experienced in experimental and quasi-experimental research designs as well as non-conventional methods. Our M&E services include:

  • System design, implementation, and capacity building
  • Information Technology, database development, management, maintenance and support
  • Capacity building on use of data and evidences for program planning, management, and monitoring
  • Capacity building of national partners on designing and conducting survey, research and evaluation
  • Conducting special studies to identify and document best practices and lessons learned
  • Designing and implementing programs to share and utilize lessons and knowledge and assist end users to incorporate learning to design and implement programs
